YIRRAMBOI invites First Nations, Inuit and Métis artists to submit an Expression of Interest to collaborate on new intercultural work to world premiere at YIRRAMBOI Festival 2025.

Collaborative Commissions will provide financial ($36,000AUD) and creative support for new work created in collaboration between artists in Australia and Canada, focusing on works that give the stories of ‘now’ back to the lands and waterways that have held them since time immemorial.

Through in-person and online developments, the creation of the Collaborative Commissions should be rooted in the cultural context, process and protocol of each artist and their respective communities.
