The Vancouver Park Board is calling artists and groups that focus on food, culture and environmental stewardship to submit proposals for the Vancouver Fieldhouse Activation Program. Residencies will last from January 2025 to December 2027. The program transforms former caretaker suites in Vancouver parks or underused Vancouver facilities into creative and engaging spaces.

The residencies aim to animate places where people already gather and foster deeper conversations about life in an urban environment. Successful applicants are given access to these spaces in exchange for engaging neighbours, colleagues and curious visitors in creative and collaborative place-based activities and events.
