Recently hired as a Macy's Santa in Manhattan, Kris Kringle begins to spread Christmas cheer by directing parents to Macy’s competitors, where they can find the exact special gift on their child's Christmas list (often for a cheaper price!). As he threatens their commercialization of Christmas, those in charge try to have Kris committed. The stakes are raised with a court competency hearing, and the risk of one little girl's belief in Santa. When the court confirms Kris is in fact the true Santa, both children and adults alike experience the delight of childhood fantasy and bring meaning back to the celebration of Christmas.

Venue: Granville Island Stage in Vancouver, BC
Artists will be engaged in an A House Category Contract as outlined in the current Canadian Theatre Agreement.

First Preview: Nov 21st, 2024
Opening: Nov 27th, 2024
Closing: Dec 29th, 2025 (5.5 Weeks)*
*The week of December 23-29 will have an additional paid 9th performance.
Possible Holdover Until: January 5, 2025
